Welcome to the Birth Matters Midwifery Consultancy Web Site. The Website was specifically set up to provide information on the Evidence Course for Normal Birth and the Enhancing Skills for Normal Birth run by Denis Walsh. These Courses have been developed over the last 9 years to address the need among maternity care professionals for education and training around physiological, normal birth. More than 60 Evidence Courses and 20 Enhancing Skills for Normal Birth Courses have now been held, reaching 4000 midwives across the UK, Europe, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
The site provides information about scheduling of these training events, their content and booking procedure. In addition, the resources I draw on to update the Courses are listed with their web page links.
